The small print
One person, a camera and a print lab. This page is short because there isn't much to tell you — and everything on it describes what actually happens, not what a template says might.

Privacy
What I collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, your email address, the photograph and size you asked about, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else, and nothing you haven't typed yourself.
If you go on to order a print, I also need a shipping address. You give that to me in an email; it goes to the lab and nowhere else.
Who else touches it
Four companies, each doing one job:
- Web3Forms carries the enquiry form from this site to my inbox. Their notification email includes the IP address the form was sent from — that's their spam protection, and I mention it because it's the one thing on this page you couldn't have guessed.
- Google, because the inbox is Gmail.
- Stripe handles payment. Card details go straight to them — they never pass through this site and I never see them.
- Prodigi prints and ships. They get your name and address so the parcel can reach you.
What I don't do
There are no accounts, no shopping cart and no mailing list. This site sets no cookies — page counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't identify anyone, which is why you've never seen a consent banner here. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and nothing is sold, rented or shared with anybody for marketing. Your photographs of your own walls are yours; I won't post one without asking.
How long I keep it
Enquiries stay in my inbox until I clear them out. Records of actual orders I keep for as long as the tax people expect me to.
What you can ask for
Email photosatmidnight@gmail.com and ask what I hold on you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. It's one person reading one inbox, so it'll be me replying, usually within a day. If you're in the EU or UK, that's your GDPR access and erasure rights — same email, same answer.
This site isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Terms
What you're buying
A photographic print, made to order after you pay. Open editions are unlimited. Editioned prints are limited to 25 of that photograph across all sizes, signed and numbered on the back in pencil, and come with a certificate giving the title, place, year, number, paper and print date.
Copyright stays with me
You own the print. I keep the copyright in the photograph. Buying one doesn't come with the right to reproduce it, scan it, print more of it, use it commercially, or feed it to a machine-learning model. You're free to sell or give away the physical print you bought. If you want to license an image for something, ask — that's a normal conversation and I'm happy to have it.
Price, payment and making it
Prices are in US dollars and include the print; shipping is added at quote. Payment goes through a Stripe link and the order is confirmed when it clears. Everything is printed to order by a professional lab, so allow about two weeks from payment to your door. Editioned prints come to me first for signing — add a few days. Those are honest estimates from real orders, not guarantees; once a parcel is with the carrier its timing isn't mine to control.
If something's wrong
Damaged in transit, or not what was described? Photograph it and email me within 14 days of delivery and I'll replace it. No need to send the damaged one back unless I ask.
Changed your mind
Open editions: 14 days from delivery. Send it back undamaged and I'll refund the price of the print. Return postage is yours, original shipping isn't refunded. Editioned prints are made and signed to order, so those are final unless something's wrong with them.
Two honest caveats
Screens vary, and a photograph on paper is a different object from a photograph on a backlit display — especially this work, which is mostly dark. Expect it to look deeper and quieter in the hand.
And the practical limit: if something goes wrong, what I can put right is the money you paid. This is a one-person operation in Texas, and Texas law governs anything we can't sort out between us. I'd much rather just fix it.
Changes
If any of this changes I'll update the page and move the date at the top. Orders are covered by whatever this page said on the day you ordered.
